SF-1 TRT-2:02:17. Contains the following Titles:
1. “9/11 Pioneers” – Panel discussion with Paul Thompson, an Internet
researcher from the US, Barrie Zwicker, a TV producer from Canada, and
Nafeez Ahmed, an author from England. After the San Francisco Phase I
9/11International Inquiry, these three 9/11 pioneers got together with
long time activist, Lynn Pentz, to discuss the air force stand-down, CIA-ISI
connection, and the surreal indifference shown by the administration
to events as they unfolded on September 11, 2001. While telling how
they became aware of the events surrounding 9/11, they give a well-rounded
overview of the Inquiry itself.

the magnitude of the crimes perpetrated on September 11, 2001. Insightful and often
humorous, the video includes striking comparison with events surrounding JFK murder. He asks, “What will you do.” He had just published his book,
Inside Job after HarperCollins failed to do so for two years!

3. “The Great Endarkenment” – Gray Brechin on The Role of Oil in Foreign
Policy. A historical geographer, author, and professor at U.C. Berkeley,
Brechin gives sweeping overview of the human war machine. In a chilling
indictment of the US government and the Bush administration, the author
explicates US international relations, open and covert, which constitute a
betrayal of the principles on which the US was founded. He looks at early
US aggression against its neighbors and beyond, noting the current
imperial wars on Afghanistan and Iraq are now using “full spectrum
dominance” to conquer the planet. Noting US barbarism, Brechin asks, “are
we just a little unclear on the concept of civilization?”.

4. “The War on Freedom” – Nafeez Ahmed examines the pattern of the post
9/11 “war on terror” and its continuity with US foreign policies in the
cold war and post-cold war periods. This pattern is rooted in a peculiar
conception of national security, which seeks to protect not the nation and
its people, but rather the transnational flow of US capital and the
functioning of the capitalist world economy. National Security has
provided a pretext for perpetual war. London-based Ahmed is the author of
two books: The War On Freedom - How and Why America was Attacked Sept. 11,
2001, and Behind the War on Terror.
